About Us
Adobe Basics was created out of a simple frustration.
Most video editing tutorials are unnecessarily long and filled with content that doesn’t actually help. You search for something simple, click on a video, and end up sitting through minutes of filler just to find the one thing you needed. Instead of making things clearer, it slows you down.
Adobe Basics was built to fix that.
Behind Adobe Basics is a student building this alongside university, learning, testing, and improving in real time. What started as trying to understand editing personally turned into creating the kind of content that was missing. Short tutorials without fluff, focused on what actually matters, so you can understand and apply things immediately.
At its core, Adobe Basics is built around making things simple. Not simplified to the point where important details are lost, but clear enough that you understand what you’re doing and can move forward without getting stuck. Because editing is a skill you learn by doing, not by sitting through long explanations.
As this grew, it became clear that the problem wasn’t just learning, but also the workflow itself. Even when you know what you’re doing, small tasks take longer than they should. That’s why Adobe Basics goes beyond tutorials and focuses on high quality presets and motion graphic templates designed to speed up your workflow and remove unnecessary friction.
Everything created follows the same idea. Make it easier to start, faster to improve, and simpler to create something you’re proud of. The focus is always on quality, usability, and real value.
This is not about making editing easy in a superficial way. It is about making progress feel possible. When things start to make sense, you gain confidence, you create more, and you improve faster.
Adobe Basics is built for people who want to get better at editing without overcomplicating it. People who value clarity, efficiency, and results.
