Step 1: Import the preset pack
Open the Effects panel, then open its panel menu (the three lines in the top corner, or right click the panel name). Click Import Presets..., browse to the downloaded .prfpset file, select it and click Open. For a detailed walkthrough, see how to import Premiere Pro presets.

Step 2: Find the pack in the Presets folder
In the Effects panel, expand the Presets folder. The new folder Ultimate Premiere Pro Pack holds everything, sorted into numbered folders: Audio Effects, Video Effects, Text Animations, Text Effects, Transitions, Slides, Shakes, Animations, Zoom and Miscellaneous.
Step 3: Explore the video effects
Open Video Effects and then Quick Essentials. You will find one click looks such as Transform (Motion Blur), several Static Blur strengths, Darken Video in and out, Pixelated Video, Remove Green Screen, Drop Shadow and Black & White. The same folder also has 3D pan, blur and video style groups.

Faster with BetterFX: skip the Effects panel. Press your BetterFX shortcut, type the first letters of Black & White and press Enter to apply it to the selected clip. Get BetterFX
Step 4: Explore the text animations
Open Text Animations to see Captions (Center), Captions (Lower Third), Cinematic Animations (cinematic in and out) and Glitch Text. The Text Effects folder adds more, like fades, slides, wiggles and tints.

Step 5: Apply a preset to a clip
Select a clip on your timeline, then drag a preset onto it or double click the preset. It is applied straight away, and the effects and keyframes it adds show up in Effect Controls, where you can adjust them. Text presets go on a text layer, while video presets go on clips. Use the Transitions, Slides, Shakes and Zoom folders in the same way, usually on an adjustment layer or the cut between two clips.

Step 6: Build edits from several presets
Presets stack. In the video, a transition preset and a smooth pan blur are added at a cut to make a fast whip between two clips, and effects like blur and shake can be layered on an adjustment layer. Preview with the spacebar and tweak values until the timing matches your music.

One click with Mako: the free Mako panel adds an adjustment layer over the selected clips, at the playhead, on the first free track, in one click. Get Mako for free
Tips
- Use the search box. Type a preset name to jump to it without opening folders.
- Import once. Presets stay in Premiere Pro for all future projects.
- Adjust after applying. Every preset is a normal set of effects, so you can edit it.
