The short answer
Want the ToothPaste feel inside Premiere Pro? QuickPaste pastes vector artwork, brand colors, gradients and headlines straight from your design work into your edit, with Cmd + V (Ctrl + V on Windows).
It is built for editors who cut app promos, product launches and brand videos, where the design file is the source of truth and every color has to match.

Design work, straight into the edit
A brand video pulls from three places: the artwork, the color tokens and the copy. Normally each one means a detour. Export the logo, write down the HEX code and build a color matte, retype the headline in a text layer.
QuickPaste skips every detour. Copy the vector, paste. Copy the color, paste. Copy the line of copy, paste. Each one comes into Premiere Pro in the form you actually need.
Step 1: Install QuickPaste
Download QuickPaste right after checkout and run the guided installer for Mac or Windows. It sets up the QuickPaste app and the Premiere Pro plugin for you, for Premiere Pro 2021 to 2026.
Open the QuickPaste panel once and make sure Convert Images to PNG and Paste Text as Title are on. Those two switches do most of the work in this guide.
Step 2: Paste vector artwork
Copy a logo, an icon or an illustration from your design app, or copy an SVG, PDF or EPS file in Finder or File Explorer. Switch to Premiere Pro and press Cmd + V.
QuickPaste converts the artwork to a clean PNG as it pastes and files it in your bin. With Paste at Playhead on, it also lands on your timeline at the playhead, ready to animate.

Step 3: Copy brand colors from code or your design file
Brand colors usually live in a style guide, a design file or a stylesheet. Select the value and copy it. QuickPaste reads HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK and OKLCH, plus CSS linear and radial gradients.
Paste in Premiere Pro and the exact color lands in your edit as a full-frame color, ready to use as a background, a lower-third bar or an accent. No eyedropper, no guessing. Our gradient background tutorial shows what to build with it next.

Step 4: Paste headlines as titles
Copy the headline from the brief, the website or the design file and paste it. QuickPaste turns the text into a title, ready to style with your brand font and color. Names, taglines and product claims come in exactly as written.
From there, add movement with our smooth text animation tutorial.

Give the brand its own bin
Set Paste To in the QuickPaste panel to a bin of its own, such as Brand. Every logo, color and title you paste is collected there, so the next video for the same client starts with everything in one place.
Layered Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects files and MOGRTs paste too, and they come in as the real file. For a deep dive into SVG files, see our guide to pasting SVG into Premiere Pro.
